Dr. Helen Schweikert’s Story

Helen was born in 1928 in New Rochelle, New York. She is a board certified Clinical Nutritionist, CCN, and a founding member of the International and American Associations of Clinical Nutritionists. She holds a Ph.D. in Bio Chemistry and Nutrition. Helen has a New York license in dietetics and nutrition and California certification for teaching and counseling. Helen is a lecturer and author, and is a recognized leader in the field of Nutrition Education. For the last 40 years, Dr. Schweikert has been active in private nutritional counseling in Southern California. She enjoys a busy practice in what she considers to be among the most effective methods for health assessment. She believes that Contact Reflex Analysis® is in-depth, and when mastered, has proven to be an outstanding method for achieving success with many baffling health problems in the world today. She uses among the most effective nutritional protocols and the results of blood chemistry in conjunction with comprehensive CRA testing for assessment. 

In her early adult life she earned her Associate of Arts degree and as a musician, she enjoyed teaching instrumental music and developed bands and orchestras in elementary and junior high schools. Due to health problems in mid-life, she left her beloved work. She spent several years searching for answers for her health problems. It was then that she began her aggressive search, deciding to embark on a natural approach for restored health. She proceeded to study and self-treat and slowly began to experience new hope. She became an avid researcher, embarking on her new career in the natural sciences. After attending her first CRA seminar, she knew immediately that this would be where she would find the answers she needed for her own health dilemma. Little did she know at that time that she would be serving and helping many others for years to come. This was the beginning of a long and satisfying journey as a functional medicine practitioner.
